This launch site is located in between Aransas Pass and Port Aransas on Redfish Bay.

A project to upgrade the park is expected to begin in March of 2010. The project will double the park’s size and add road access, picnic tables, hiking trails and preservation areas for vegetation.

It provides access to the nearby popular fishing spots of the Shrimp Boat Channel and the Cutters Loop of the Lighthouse Lakes Trails.
