The Copano Bay Fishing Pier is actually the old causeway that was closed in 1967. The center section was removed to allow boats easier passage through the area. The southern side is 2500 feet long, and the northern side is 6190 feet. These piers are open 24 hours a day and are lighted, so some of the best fishing is at night. A history of fishing reports for the Copano Bay Pier. Maybe you can find a seasonal pattern or a bait or technique that has worked in the past. Oct-31-07 • Trout, flounder and black drum are good on live and dead shrimp and finger mullet off the Copano Bay Pier. |
