This launch site is located in the Aransas National Wildlife Refuge on San Antonio Bay. A steep bank can make launching very difficult
It provides access to the nearby popular fishing spots of Chicken Foot Reef, Dagger Point and Dagger Point Reef. Fishing is only permitted in the Wildlife Refuge from April 15th to October 15th.
