This part of Aransas National Wildlife Refuge features a boardwalk with bathrooms nearby and a 40-foot Observation Tower that winds above the trees and provides a panoramic vista of San Antonio Bay and the Intracoastal Waterway.
A pair or family (3) of Whooping Cranes can usually be seen from the Observation Tower generally from mid-October through March.
