This undeveloped park borders the south shore of South Bay, which is fringed by black mangrove that dies back whenever there is a freeze. From the end of TX 4, one can drive south along the beach to the mouth of the Rio Grande or north to Brazos Santiago Pass and the Brownsville Ship Channel.
No facilities or fees; always open.
