The Copano Bay Fishing Pier is actually the old causeway that was closed in 1967. The center section was removed to allow boats easier passage through the area. The southern side is 2500 feet long, and the northern side is 6190 feet. These piers are open 24 hours a day and are lighted, so some of the best fishing is at night.
