Riverside Park features 562 acres of woodland bordered by 4 1/2 miles of the Guadalupe River. There are 200 picnic areas with tables and pits and areas for group outings. There is a public boat ramp, , a new canoe & kayak paddling trail, exercise trail, duck pond, baseball, softball, and playground facilities. The Rose Garden features 1,050 rose bushes representing 105 varieties, ornamental water fountain, gazebo, and walkways. The Rose Garden is located on McCright Drive.
