Sea Turtle, Inc. is a non-profit organization that assists the U. S. Fish & Wildlife Service with patrolling South Texas beaches for sea turtle nests. They offer tours of their facility where they rehabilatate injured sea turtles. The short tour is enjoyable and educational for both kids and adults.

Sea Turtle, Inc. was founded in 1977 by Ila Loetscher, better known as "The Turtle Lady of South Padre Island. " Ila dedicated much of her life to helping protect the endangered Kemp's Ridley Sea Turtle.
