When CineSol Film Festival opens its 16th annual festival on September 11, Catherine Hardwicke, director of Twilight (2008) will lead the star pack of moviemakers at the festival. CineSol, always a valleywide fine arts group, will open its independent film festival in Harlingen, where it will be hosted by Texas State Technical College (TSTC).
After its opening weekend in Harlingen September 11-13, CineSol will close September 19-20 at Cine El Rey in McAllen.
