At N.O. Simmons Park in Ingleside will be a very unique event held for a very good cause. It's unique because it will feature hot rods, show cars, motorcycles and lowriders. This Car Show is also unique because it's benefactor is over 120 years old. The Ingleside Railroad Depot, built in 1887 by the Riley Railroad Construction Company has a vast history and is in need of some serious renovation. The Ingleside Chamber of Commerce hopes to someday rehabilitate the building and move it out onto the highway as a Railroad Museum/Visitor's Center. The event will be well attended with car clubs coming in from San Antonio, Victoria, Corpus Christi, Austin, and many points in between.
There will be bands providing live music all day! The public is encouraged to attend and participate in this FREE EVENT! Swap Meet vendors are being sought and will provide unique wares for the shopping attendees.
