This Tract is a good place to see a mix of Valley specialties and western species. Varied Buntings have been seen in spring and Green-tailed Towhees winter here on occasion. Verdin, Greater Roadrunner, Long-billed and Curve-billed thrashers, White-tailed Kite and other Valley residents are present throughout the year.
