Examine the prairies and marshews along the way for a variety of coastal grassland species such as
Norther Harrier, Sandhill Crane and Short-haired Owl. Upon reaching the Gulf look for loons, grebes,
ducks, gulls and terns. Migration brings eastern and Western Kingbirds, Scissor-tailed Flycatcher,
and Dickcissel.
