The South Texas Map is a joint venture between Texmaps of Corpus Christi, Texas and The Carson Map Company of Harlingen, Texas.

Texmaps was formed in 1996 and specializes in acquiring and developing a variety of map layers from different sources and incorporating them into a detailed digital base map that currently covers over 62,000 square miles of South Texas and Mexico. Our Geographic Information System (GIS) is used to produce 6 Regional Atlases that are widely used in both the Private and Public Sector and are without a doubt, the most current and accurate maps available for South Texas.

Carson Map Company has specialized in providing Property and Plat maps for over 60 years in the US and Canada. Carson Map is a leader in providing online data access to property maps through an Internet Map Server (IMS). Carson Map has extensive experience in converting paper maps into a GIS operable format and making those maps available on the World Wide Web.
