Description: Silvery gray or bronze with dark oblique wavy bars or lines, iridescent especially on head, 3 to 5 pairs of small barbels on chin. Size usually less than 2 lbs., juveniles are found in estuaries during spring-fall, adults are common in deep offshore waters, spawning occurs offshore in fall. Take limits: No limit
