Snow Peas with Shrimp

 

 

Prepare cooking sauce and set aside. Place wok over high heat and add oil when hot. When oil is hot, add arlic and shrimp and stir-fry about 1 min. Add pea pods and stir-fry about 3 min. Add water chestnuts and onions, stir to mix. Stir cooking sauce and add to wok. Stir until sauce boils and thickens. Serve over rice.

Sauce
1 tsp cornstarch
¼ tsp ground ginger
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp dry sherry
½ cup chicken broth
Other Ingredients
3 tbsp vegetable oil
1 clove garlic, minced
1 lb med raw shrimp, cleaned and deveined
1½ cup snow peas, ends and strings removed
1 8 oz can water chestnuts, drained and thinly sliced
2-3 green onions with tops, thinly sliced
