Bathroom, Laundry, and a Recreational Building available. We are located just a few miles south of the historic town of Golaid. Goliad offers plenty of siteseeing, shopping and wonderful resturants.

The Barnhart Q5 Ranch was awarded Texas Parks & Wildlife's Lone Star Land Stewardship Award "In Recognition of Outstanding Efforts in the Conservation and Enhancement of Wildlife Habitat in Texas" in 2004. It has over 18 miles of hike and bike trails through its rolling South Texas brush country. We feed wildlife year-round at 8 of our ponds around the property, and offer wildlife viewing and photography or hunting blinds at each site. Located within the intersection of the southern and northern migratory paths, birdwatchers can see large numbers of green jay, bunting, raptors, heron, ibis, hummingbird, and more. Deer, Bobwhite quail, dove, turkey, and the occasional bobcat can be sited. Our night sky is black and loaded with stars. Grab your pillows and head for the high point on stargazer hill for fabulous stargazing while coyote serenade you.
